Our newest hire, Alfredo Serna, joined the Houston Interiors Project Manager and Estimator Team in October of 2023. Alfredo began his professional career after graduating from the University of Houston in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. After a few years of practicing physical therapy at a local hospital, he wasn’t fully satisfied and began searching for a change of career path. Alfredo grew up around construction, spending much of his childhood on site helping his father, a bricklaying subcontractor, who instilled in Alfredo an unparalleled work ethic and an understanding of the true value of hard work. In Spring of 2022, he simultaneously began a Construction Management program at HCC while also being hired as an Assistant Project Manager at an acoustic construction company. He quickly hit his stride and found success over the course of the first year, but the Houston branch of the company was shut down and that’s when Alfredo first walked through the Houston Interiors doors. He will soon graduate from his construction management program in May and we look forward to seeing all Alfredo will accomplish here at Houston Interiors.

Outside of Houston Interiors, Alfredo’s life revolves around two things: family and sports. If he’s not playing or watching sports, he’s at the family barbeque or hanging out with friends. Alfredo grew up in Northside Houston, but he just bought a house in Spring.
