After touring the Arrow Child & Family Ministries offices in November of 2019, Laura Pontikes, executive vice president and co-founder of Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, did what we all hope to do when she felt called to be God’s hands and feet; she acted. Arrow Child & Family Ministries started their journey in 1992 focused on foster care, but their ministry has expanded to encompass much more in the realm of helping kids and strengthening families. Their offices had seen the wear and tear of 15 years of hard work in a flourishing ministry, a fact that did not go unnoticed by Laura Pontikes.
In ways that only God can work, the Satterfield & Pontikes team brought together 40 businesses to donate over $1 million in time, materials, and expertise to completely renovate the Arrow facilities. Houston Interiors was blessed to be included in that list of businesses and we cannot wait to continue supporting Arrow in the future. In November of 2020, one year after Laura Pontikes’ tour, the renovations were finished, and the results are amazing. God. Is. Good.
