Kristy Maniscalco plays key roles in both the Houston Interiors narrative and in the company today. Long before Houston Interiors, Kristy began assisting her husband and company President David Maniscalco in his career by serving in an administrative role at his first company: sending proposals, running checks, and managing payroll. As their lives and family progressed, she retired to the less involved position of Special Events Coordinator in order to focus more of her time and attention on raising their children at home. A shift, we soon learned, that was God-orchestrated as Molly, our current Controller, took over her administrative tasks and ran with the position from there, transforming it into its present role.
As our Special Events Coordinator, any time an in-house project comes along Kristy takes the lead and puts it together. From planning corporate retreats and designing business cards to organizing meet-n-greets and finding new ways to show employee appreciation, our superstar here does it all and loves every minute of it.
Now, Kristy and David enjoy their empty nest in Fulshear, Texas. When she is not tasked with the latest and greatest Houston Interiors project, Kristy finds fulfillment through all kinds of ministry work with women’s ministry and prison ministry at the top of the list. After serving over 25 years on the Women’s Ministry Board at Simonton Community Church, she has taken a step back to allow new, young leaders an opportunity to serve and grow in their faith, but Kristy’s flame for the Lord could never be extinguished as she continues to regularly serve both men and women in and out of prisons.
